2011 ACCE Champions!

The odds seemed insurmountable at times, and with a varsity team consisting primarily of Sophomores, few gave the Warriors a chance at winning the ACCE title. But the Warriors did just that! Not only did the Warriors finish undefeated at home, but an incredible group of young men overcame blatant discrimination, racial slurs, and “questionable officiating” all season (particularly in the championship game) to win the school’s first conference championship. Sophomores Shannon Estrin and Marvin Grier earned All-ACCE Honors, as well as Senior Leon Jones who ended the season averaging 33 points and 11 rebounds per game! The Warriors are poised for another successful season, this time NOT as a member of the ACCE.
