2009 Season Updates:

(8/28) Mustangs Open Season with Dominance

If opening night was any indication, expect big things from the Mustangs. The Mustangs dominated the Holy Ground Stallions 39 to 12. Although the Stallions remained competitive for the first half, the Mustang running attack proved to be too much. Newcomer Reginald Spear fought off minor injuries to provide Mustang fans with several highlights, including multiple double-digit yard runs. The run-game was complemented by some hard running from Ben Herring.  If  the Mustang passing game can become as effective as the running game, you have to consider the Mustangs a legitimate GFL Championship contender.   The Mustangs play their next game at home on Friday, September 18th against a tough North Georgia Falcons team!
