Applying to The Wilson Academy

Admissions Eligibility

The Wilson Academy admits the students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, programs, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Admissions Process

Applying for enrollment at The Wilson Academy is a three-step process. 

Step One: Complete an application. Applications may be downloaded by clicking the word “application”. If you have trouble downloading the application, simply request one by email. Once completed, the application may be mailed to us, or dropped-off in person. Mailing address: The Wilson Academy- 6025 Covington Hwy. – Decatur, GA 30035. Please email us once you have completed your application, so as to speed the admission process.

 Step Two: Once we have reviewed your application, we will schedule an interview. At The Wilson Academy, parents and staff form a team. Parental involvement is required, and is critical to the success of our students. Therefore, it is just as important that we have the right type of parents, as it is that we have the right type of students. 

Step Three: All students and parents must be interviewed by Headmaster Wilson in order to gain admission. At this time, parents will provide the child’s academic and behavioral records, and a $20 application fee is due.

When to apply

We begin accepting applications for the 2010/2011 School Year on January 4th. Our enrollment is one of the most competitive in Dekalb County, GA , so we strongly urge interested parents to act quickly when applying for admission.
