Students at The Wilson Academy have a responsibility to shine as an example of proper young men and women, and community leaders. That is why all students of The Wilson Academy proudly adhere to our Comprehensive Code of Conduct.
Comprehensive Code of Conduct
No student of The Wilson Academy shall engage in any conduct unbecoming of a Wilson Warrior. Any student exhibiting such behavior shall receive a consequence deemed appropriate by Headmaster of The Wilson Academy. Consequences shall range in severity from removal of certain privileges to expulsion.
No student of The Wilson Academy shall:
- Engage in an excessive public display of affection either on or off school grounds, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Sag pants or wear clothing in such a way that exposes or augments parts of one’s body in an inappropriate manner, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Wear any article of clothing, or wear clothing in such a way that denotes gang affiliation, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Engage in any activity, including but not limited to displaying symbolism, denoting gang affiliation, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Post his or her nude and or sexually suggestive photos/pics on the internet, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Engage in disrespectful, vulgar, or offensive behavior, which includes but is not limited to the use of inappropriate and offensive language, where said student can be identified as a student of The Wilson Academy
- Engage in the distribution or consumption of any illegal substance, or any product containing alcohol or tobacco, or the improper use of legal substances for the purpose of becoming impaired. Said policy applies either on or off school grounds.
- Engage in any illegal activity either on or off school grounds, or post content online that suggests or implies illegal behavior
